Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Rentals Manager to lead our Rentals Department in managing our extensive inventory of audio-visual equipment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the audio-visual industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a track record of successfully driving rental operations to new heights. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute a strategic vision for the Rentals Department that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
Drive revenue growth through innovative rental solutions, customer retention, and market expansion.

Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of rental coordinators, technicians, and support staff.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.

Inventory Management

Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and tracking of all audio-visual equipment in the rental inventory.
Ensure the availability and condition of equipment meet customer demands and industry standards.

Client Relations

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their audio-visual needs and providing tailored solutions.
Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the rental process.

Quality Assurance

Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition and meets industry standards.
Implement best practices for equipment maintenance and safety protocols.

Market Research

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to drive innovation and stay competitive.

Compliance and Safety

Ensure all rental operations comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
Develop and maintain safety protocols for equipment handling and operation.

Ideal Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
5+ years of leadership experience in the audio-visual or related industry, with a proven track record of success.
Strong understanding of audio-visual equipment, technology, and industry trends.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and rental management systems.
