As the massive World Expo 86 was about to begin, our founder, Graham McGlashan, was approached by Vancouver mogul Jimmy Pattison to take over a number of major events. It had become apparent that the company who had originally been contracted by the Expo 86 group to provide av was in over their head and would have to give up. Since then, McMedia has been a Vancouver establishment. We have long-standing clients who trust us to take care of them, many of them dating back to 1986.
