The JPC is an analog stereo interface created to address the hum and buzz issues often encountered when linking a computer or consumer playback device to an audio system. It reduces the input level from extra loud sources to prevent overload distortion. When depressed, the pad is inserted on both channels. Individual LEDs let you know that phantom power is active on left and right channels. Stereo inputs accommodate drum machines, sampler, and keyboards and are wired in parallel with RCA and 3.5 mm (⅛” TRS) connectors. Wired stereo for easy interface with laptops PCs and iPods. TRS connection follows convention with tip-left, ring-right and sleeve-common ground.
